The Mavericks mission is to Honor God, Honor others, grow & develop as players, students, coaches, parents & fans, to be positive contributors to the community and do so with Honor, Integrity, Respect, and Excellence.

The Maverick Organization was founded in 1975 by BJ and Denny Dixon. Originally starting out as The McKinney Mavericks, the Dixon Brothers set out to start a select program that would prepare players in the McKinney area for High School baseball. In 1975 the Dixons competed against other organizations such as DPA, Dallas Mustangs, Ft. Worth Cats and Adair Braves.

Over the past 35+ years in existence the Mavericks have been to the AABC Mickey Mantle World Series 10 times. Since its inception, the organization has dedicated time and efforts to bring individuals to the game of baseball and developing players on and off the field.

The Mavericks staff is comprised of dedicated coaches that participated in the game of baseball at the collegiate and/or professional level.

Beyond our highly competitive select baseball teams our organization offers students of the game a wide variety of training at all ages including lessons for hitting, pitching, catching, fielding, strength and conditioning / speed and agility as well as camps and team clinics.

It is our goal to provide youth baseball players a fun, safe enviroment to play and grow in the game of baseball. Above that the Mavericks are dedicated to placing high school players in a college program that fits their skill level as well as academic level. In our 35+ years of existence The Mavericks have had tremendous success in developing players and helping them achieve their goals. Many of our players have moved on to collegiate and/or professional baseball.
